Jade Goody's Tragic Cervical Cancer Story

Jade Goody's Tragic Cervical Cancer Story

I have so much love & respect for Jade; such a brave young mum who shared her story and saved many.

"The tumour was so big I had it falling out of me while I was on the loo"

Jade Goody spent four years fearing something was wrong and pleading with doctors to work out what it was.

By the time the cervical cancer was found it had spread outside of her uterus, meaning her chances of survival went from 50 per cent to zero.

Just seven months after being diagnosed with cancer, the 27-year-old died.

Jade's story is unique not just because it is rare for someone so young to die from the disease, but because of the symptoms she suffered.

The Big Brother star was just 15 and not sexually active when she first contracted the deadly human papilloma virus (HPV) and abnormal cells were found during a smear test...

I Genuinely Just Want To Help...

I Genuinely Just Want To Help...

I've had a few critical comments recently via social media for charging for my headwear when people are ill and need them... its very disheartening and really upsets me. I would love to give my products away for free! But sadly this is not possible if I want to continue my business and make my products available long term for people who need them and get comfort from them, whether for themselves or a loved one.

I genuinely take on the stress of manufacturing and running Bold Beanies because of the belief I have in my products... how unique, good and needed they are. The type of products you don't recognise the necessity or benefits until suddenly you or someone you love needs them and usually that comes in a tremendous amount of turmoil. I'm in a position to be able to make a small difference to peoples lives when they need it the most. To make a difficult situation just a bit more bearable. I will ALWAYS do my best to help with individual bespoke needs to customer requests or help in any way I can. I often go out of my way to help and this is always at my cost. I never pass on these on to customers... I genuinely just want to help.

I don't make much money from my business and I certainly don't lead a lavish lifestyle, but I am grateful I get the flexibility to combine my work with raising my two daughters.

If however, anyone does have any spare money or a knows a business which would like to sponsor some products to be given away to people for free who need them... do not hesitate to direct them my way :)

I support many charities each month, wether that be through direct sales of hats, offering prizes for monthly giveaways or donating headwear for chemo care packs, I do as much as I can to help as many organisations as I can.

Thank you Richard for the kind words. It makes it all worthwhile.
